Site Description
Approaching the station (which reopened as a passenger transfer point only in 1988 - there is no external access to/from the station) there is a lake on the Up side. There are both Up and Down platforms here, however, that on the Down side is derelict and out of use. The line to Ballina diverges on the Up side at the Westport end of the station. There is a trailing siding off this which terminates behind the Up platform. The Manulla River is crossed at the Westport end of the station.Photographs
